Dear Members of the Krishna University Family,

It is with great pleasure that I extend my warmest greetings to every one of you as we embark on another promising academic year at Krishna University.

As Vice Chancellor, I am deeply committed to upholding the university's valued traditions of excellence in education, research, and community engagement.

At Krishna University, we believe in the transformative power of education to shape the leaders of tomorrow. Our mission describes what we do: To educate students to prepare them for productive pursuits, and engage in research and scholarship that advances new knowledge. Although we successfully achieve many other things, education and research are what we are commissioned to accomplish and must do well.Our faculty, staff, and students embody this spirit of excellence, constantly pushing boundaries and embracing new challenges. Together, let us create a dynamic and enriching learning environment where every individual could thrive.

As we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of higher education, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to academic integrity, inclusivity, and the pursuit of knowledge for the betterment of society.We value each other and hold ourselves accountable for acting ethically and transparently viaconsideration and understanding.

Our vision describes our aspiration for Krishna University as we gaze into the future. If things unfold as expected and we execute on our plan, our vision becomes reality. I encourage each of you to actively participate in the vibrant academic as well as extracurricular activities that Krishna University has to offer.

We cannot reach our destination if we are unclear about our starting position. This means owning up to who we are — both our strengths and weaknesses — and clearly seeing the challenges and opportunities before us. We must leverage our strengths and mitigate our weaknesses. We must be alert to opportunities and realize them to their fullest, particularly opportunities that align with our strengths.And we will continue to serve our community as we rise to meet the opportunities that summon us.
