Prof. K. Ramji, Vice-chancellor, Krishna University inaugurated the Daily Yoga Sessions as part of state-initiated Month-long Yoga Campaign (i.e. from 21st May – 21st June, 2025), which is organizing by Krishna University as chief guest to promote health, wellness, and community participation in the lead-up to International Yoga Day on 21st June 2025 at Indoor Stadium, Dr. YSR Administrative Building, KRU Campus, Rudravaram. Sri S. Srinivasa Rao, renowned Yoga Guruji, conducted the inaugural practice training session and delivered an insightful address highlighting the significance of yoga. His speech encompassed the historical evolution of yoga, its philosophical foundations, and its numerous benefits in enhancing physical, mental, and emotional well-being in everyday life. Prof. N. Usha, Registrar of Krishna University, also addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of incorporating daily yoga practice into every individual’s life. Dr. P. Gopi, Physical Instructor at KRUCET, concluded the programme with his closing remarks, expressing gratitude to the participants and emphasizing the continued importance of physical fitness and yoga practice. Faculty members and a majority of the non-teaching staff of Krishna University actively participated in the inaugural yoga training session and supported the initiative.
