The Training and Placement Cell of Krishna University organized Achievers Day Celebrations – 2026 on 5th May, 2026 at the Alluri Sitarama Raju Auditorium. The programme was conducted for the students of constituent college — University College of Arts & Science (UCAS).

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from UCAS students along with their parents. In a unique and meaningful gesture, students received their offer letters from their parents, making the occasion both memorable and emotionally significant.

Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Chairman Sri Konakalla Narayana Rao attended as chief guest of the programme. During the event, 225 students received appointment/offer letters, handed over by their parents in a symbolic gesture. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Narayana Rao expressed satisfaction over the university’s rapid growth from its early days in rented buildings.

Superintendent of Police Sri V Vidyasagar Naidu, IPS encouraged students to set clear goals and work diligently to achieve success.

Highlighting the importance of skill development, Bharat Electronics Limited AGM Sri AE Srinivasa Rao stressed the need for students to continuously upgrade their skills in tune with evolving technology.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. K Ramji underlined Machilipatnam’s legacy as a prominent educational hub, recalling the contributions of historic institutions like Noble College, Andhra Jateeya Kalasala (National College), and Hindu College.

Registrar (I/c) and Principal, UCAS- Prof. N Usha presided over the programme, which was attended by Rector (I/c) Prof. MV Basaveswara Rao, Chief Executive Officer of Franqlin Tech. Systems Pvt. Ltd. – Sri R. Siva Kumar, Director of Training and Placement Prof. YK Sundara Krishna, Coordinator Dr Kishore, faculty members and students.
