The vision of the R & D Cell in Centre for Research Studies (CRS) at a university is to become a leading centre of excellence in research and innovation, dedicated to advancing knowledge and solving complex problems for the benefit of society. The R&D Cell aspires to create a culture of research excellence, where faculty members and students are encouraged to explore and push the boundaries of their respective fields. The Cell aims to foster interdisciplinary collaborations that can lead to breakthroughs in science, technology, and social sciences.

To establish, build, and sustain an Institution of the highest calibre by the complete integration of teaching and state-of-the-art research.
To facilitate and promote research through a flexible borderless curriculum and research projects.
To impart and nurture a innovative research skills that prepare research scholars for outstanding careers across the world, in various areas, including academia.

Our mission is to facilitate cutting-edge research and development activities that have a positive impact on society. We aim to promote an environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and collaboration across all disciplines.

Objectives

To enable research at KrU as an integral part of the learning process.
To identify research priorities and offer research programmes in multi-disciplinary / inter-disciplinary and emerging areas in arts, languages, commerce, social sciences, basic sciences and applied areas of sciences.
To establish a centralized sophisticated instrumentation facility (SIF) to regulate the access of research facilities.
To seek research grants, sponsored research projects, consultancy works and promote focused research of national importance.
To disseminate research findings in high impact publications.
To support researchers in acquiring various forms of IP and facilitate licensing through technology transfer.
To forge global collaborations and MOUs with academia and industry in cutting-edge research and strengthen the existing ones.
To be an effective interface with the industry to foster, promote and sustain commercialization of innovations, patents and technologies developed in the university for mutual benefits.
